Currently, the secondary language teaching mostly ancient prose has a long historyand cultural traditions of our country’s most important root, with endless spiritualconnotation and artistic charm. In ancient China, in order to distinguish differencesbetween verse and parallel prose style, uniform dispersion of the article does not rhymewith no rearrangement, specifically including classics, biography, history, including allsports, all called prose. Ancient classical prose is the essence, its demonstration oftraditional Chinese language and culture, especially impressive. The object of this paperis to study, mainly refers to opt PEP New Curriculum compulsory high school languagetextbook ancient prose.In ancient Chinese teaching in prose is an important aspect of the language alongwith the deepening of the reform, the proportion of ancient prose is also expanding.Overall PEP high school language textbook (required) five volumes of textbooks, booksare selected for each of the ancient prose into a cell, the corresponding difficulty ofteaching also increased. With the gradual deepening of curriculum reform, updating neweducational concept, the new high school curriculum for the teaching of ancient prosealso put forward higher requirements, so the high school reading instruction conducted toexplore the ancient prose is very necessary. The author of Yulin and Yan’an City,multiple school teachers and students, respectively, conducted a survey study of "ancientprose reading on teaching", the author’s analysis of the survey results, teachers andstudents about ancient prose reading less, the lack of interest in learning the ancient prose,lack of guidance method of the system. In response to these drawbacks, I believe that it isnecessary in the new curriculum standards and textbook conditions for the teaching ofancient prose to make a simple discussion, I hope the majority of attention and in-depthstudy of language educators. The paper has been divided into four parts: The first part describes the introductionof the main two aspects, namely, research status under the new curriculum a clearconcept of ancient prose and ancient prose. I gather some information with literatureresearch methods and Ancient Prose Reading High School teaching related to collate andanalyze, established a research perspective; Meanwhile, prose, classical, classical,defines the concept. The second part, written in ancient prose reading teaching status quo.I first review and reflect on the teaching methods of ancient prose since the20th century,followed by the city of Yulin and Yan’an several high school conducted an investigation,and then analyzes the current situation and the reasons for teaching the new era ofancient prose; third part of this thesis focus, first discussed the new curriculum standardsfor the teaching of ancient prose requirements, then the author of a number of cases,respectively, from the instruction method of teaching, teachers, students explore threeangles, respectively, which are summarized and sort out some of the strategies andenhance the ancient prose quality of teaching methods, hoping to more fully optimize theteaching of ancient prose. The author summarizes the main conclusion of the case of thisstudy. Of course, due to time constraints and personal abilities, research paper also exists,insufficient as selected sample, may cause differences in the survey results with the realsituation, which still needs further research.
