| Our country has a long history, and our ancestors left us profound historyand culture, which has been passing from generation to generation througheducation.In many disciplines of education, language education plays a veryimportant role in the process of historical and culturalinheritance.Contemplation of the moment, according to the spirit of thechange of new curriculum, the humanities of language is getting a furtherembodiment, the interdisciplinary trend of various disciplines of high school isjust beginning.Therefore, as far as I am concerned, in language teaching ofhigh school, The contact among all curriculum should be strengthened withother disciplines, especially the contact between language and history.Because in high school language textbook selected table of contents, there arequite a lot of contents (especially in speech text) are related to a number ofhistorical and cultural knowledge. Besides, with the introduction of the "standards of language curriculum of ordinary high school "(experimental)made it clear to high school students that they should accumulate historicaland cultural knowledge, increase background of culture, and run through thewhole process of language learning ". Therefore, from my point of view, inorder to enhance comprehension of language texts especially speech texts ofhigh school, and strengthen the educational and cultural function of language,it need to be properly applied the historical and cultural knowledge to highschool language teaching practice, and give full play to the role of historical and cultural knowledge to promote language teaching in high school.In this paper,the writer use the current People’s Education Press,highschool textbooks for the compulsory Experiment1-5booklets for researchobject, study application of historical and cultural knowledge in high schoollanguage teaching.is text is divided into four parts. The first part is a preface,mainly elaborate the research method, contents of this paper, introduce thehistory, culture and other related concepts and research status of this topic;Thesecond part mainly study the relationship between historical and culturalknowledge and language in high school;The third part mainly involves combof historical and cultural knowledge of high school language textbook(compulsory1-5); The forth is from the perspective of the specificapplication of measures to explore the historical and cultural knowledge to thepractice of high school language teaching. Among them, The later two partsare important research components of this article.This text aim at making adraft discussion and analysis towards applying historical and culturalknowledge in language teaching particularly in the speech texts in high school,I hope it can start a discussion.
