This study centers around the impairment of elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history in the senior high school Chinese teaching.In the exordiium of this paper elaborated are the significance,essentiality,existing circumstances and approaches of the study.Firstly manifested is the significance of the study revealed in the perspective of time,education and the development of teacher and student;followed are the theoretical as well as the realistic essentiality of the study;then approaches are given according to the existing circumstances of 'two too many and two too few'.The second chapter concerns itself with the teaching orientation of impairment of elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history.The first section is proceeded with the definition of culture,determining the objective of the study;the second section classifies the elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history in the senior high school Chinese teaching.The third section highlights the teaching value of impairment of elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history.In the classification overviews,the status of Classical Chinese in the senior high school text book as well as in the college entrance examination is considered,the specific content of elementary knowledge of historical culture and history is also categorized with examples given.The next section serves as a validation of the teaching value of the elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history in the perspectives of classroom teaching,teaching evaluation and cultural inheritance.The third chapter generalizes the current situation of senior high school elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history teaching and contributing factors.The first section of this chapter summarizes the current situation of senior high school elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history teaching,identifying the teaching conflicts of the current situation from the four aspects of teaching requirements,current learning situation,teaching instruction model and evaluation results.The second section is mainly focused on the causes of formation from the aspect of social history and education itself.The insufficiency of awareness in this field can be ascribed to five reasons in the education aspect,respectively to be the constraint of examination-oriented education,the undervaluing of the compilatory group,the difficulty of elementary knowledge of historical culture and history,the under-reserve of teaching material and the particularity of the teaching targets.The fourth chapter then presents the reformative strategies for elementary knowledge of ancient culture and history teaching according to the current situation and formation causes in the third chapter.The first section talks about the strategy aiming for the improvements of the preparations of teaching,specific methods are given as instructions for teachers to perfect themselves in the aspects of teaching consciousness and teaching metrical and knowledge reverse increasing.The second section discusses the perfection of teaching methods and teaching evaluation.To search solutions from the aspect of teaching methods,importance is attached to text book resources and class teaching modality,some detailed improvement suggestions are also given.The third section also provides advices from the standpoint of the teaching's relevance to life.To be specifically,extracurricular reading after class and the elementary knowledge of historical culture and history in life is considered very helpful.
