Teaching media using in rural primary school of Yi nationality showed a trend ofgradual promotion and popularization of the application, the construction ofnormalization of education in minority region plays an important role: promoting thebilingual teaching, expanding students’ vision, changing students’ learning habits,improving teachers’ teaching and teacher’s teaching quality, as well as has causedwide concern. In order to better understand the status of the Yi nationality villageprimary school teaching media applications, research Yi nationality rural primaryschools as a foothold, drawing education instructional media communication theory,teaching theory and practice of media applications and Minority Educationmulticultural education theory as background research theory, the use of qualitativeresearch methods and the amount, through field visits,questionnaires,interviews, etc.Exposition and analysis of instructional media applications. The main researchcontents include education technology and equipment, the construction of teachingresources, teaching evolution media application development, teacher education andtechnical training, the using of the basic situation of teaching media, teaching mediaapplications, self-awareness and skills of students in teaching media cognitionteachers teaching media attitudes and emotions, and teaching media applications inpractice case distance education and training in rural party members and so on,explore the factors that influence the application of instructional media, and think ofa way to meet the instructional media applications Yi nationality rural areas.Research shows village primary school of Yi nationality teachers vacanciesserious, instructional media application capabilities should be improved, lack ofinstructional media equipment and practical experience opportunities for students,teaching a single evaluation mechanism to limit use of instructional media, localmatching resources to be perfect. Found that school teaching mainstream mediaapplications and usage models almost unanimously, does not reflect much of thenational character and particularity. Overall, teaching media applications started late,still in the shallow, the initial stage. This paper attempts to clarify the valueorientation of teaching media applications, the idea of teaching media potential applications in the Yi nationality villages teaching, and on the establishment ofpluralistic teaching evaluation system; develops local teaching materials and products,rich course content; advocates of multicultural education; adapt Yi nationality areasproposed teacher education proposals.
