With the rapid development of science and technology, talent plays a crucial rolein the comprehensive national power competition between countries. Talentcultivation mainly depends on education, so the teacher education, as the basis of thewhole education, has received the attention of the countries, becomes the research hotspot in the new century. Based on the German teacher education as the research object,this paper analyzes the development history of German teacher education,summarizes its successful experience, to promote the development of teachereducation in China.German teacher education development has experienced a long time. Accordingto the time sequence, this paper probes into the reform and development history ofGerman teacher education, including the stage of system, the stage of institution, thestage of development and the stage of integration reform. This paper attempts toanalysis characteristics, change ways of German teacher education from themacro-perspective in the process of reform and development, and tries to analysis theeducation system, teacher cultivation, curriculum and so on from the microscopicview of German teacher education in different development period, summarizes itssuccessful experience in the development process.This paper is divided into seven parts. The first part introduces the researchpurpose and meaning, defines the core concepts. On the basis of the reading vastamount of literature, this paper points out the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second part introduces the teacher education of the stage of system (late17thcentury to the late18thcentury). With the Prussian forces becoming powerful, for thepurpose to strengthen the rule and expand military power, in an attempt to developcompliant subjects and handy soldiers by education, So government vigorouslyadvocated force compulsory education. Force compulsory education laid a solidfoundation for the emergence and development of teacher education. The third partintroduces the teacher education of the stage of institution (the beginning of the19thcentury to the beginning of20thcentury).The main symbol of this period is that primary school teachers cultivation develops from the level of Secondary Schooling(The teacher training institute) to the level of college education (education college)and bachelor degree of education (education college and university).The fourth partintroduces the teacher education of the stage of development (the beginning of20thcentury to the late1960s). During this period, it introduces the teacher educationbefore the nazi, the teacher education of the stage of nazi and the teacher education ofstage of after the second world war. The fifth part introduces the teacher education ofthe stage of perfection (the late60s to today). In the period, the major reform ofeducation field is the integration of teacher education. Including professional learningintegration, integration of pre-service education and in-service education. The sixthpart introduces the experiences and lessons of German teacher education. Through theanalysis of German teacher education development course, summarizes its advantagesand disadvantages in the development process. The seventh part introduces theenlightenment of German teacher education to our country. Through the analysis ofthe advantages and disadvantages of German teacher education in the developmentprocess, summarizes its successful experience, to provide referential experience to thedevelopment of teacher education of our country.
