Vocational education, an important part of modern education, is the basement of national economy and social development. Its task is to train talents who have both modern scientific technical knowledge and practical skills. Compared with common education, vocational education raises the higher request for teachers. Therefore, how to reform the vocational school teacher's education (VSTE) and improve the quality of vocational teachers is a crucial project for vocational education.As we know, it is a rapid and efficient way to take the successful experience of VSTE as reference from the developed countries. This paper, therefore, explores and studies VSTE mode in German with comparative method, literature review and investigation method. Its aim is to reform the current VSTE mode of our country by learning the advanced theory, enhance the construction of the vocational teacher team and facilitate the healthy and orderly development of vocational education in China.However, because of the differences in economy, politic, traditional culture and education, there exist some differences in the mode of VSTE between German and China. As a result, it is necessary to select and improve the original mode according to Chinese circumstance. Therefore, this paper develops the research from the following four aspects:In the fist part, the concept of Germany"Dual-system"VSTE is defined, and the significance and standard of double-competency teacher is specified. The second part introduces the historical development and current situation of Germany VSTE mode, and analyzes its characteristics'. In the third part, the adaptability of applying Germany"Dual-system"VSTE in China is studied by the analysis of its necessity, feasibility and difficulties. And the last part suggests the countermeasures of reforming current VSTE mode in China. It is pointed out that we must specify the development target of double-competency teacher, strengthen the cooperation between school and corporation, build the integrative development process, and reform the current teacher's evaluation system.
