The Research On Development And Utilization Of Parents Curriculum Resources

With the arrival of the knowledge economy and the rapid development of scienceand technology, the fierce international competition is becoming increasingly. Itrequires the basic education to speed up the pace of cultivating the innovative spiritand practical ability of high-quality personnel and carry out quality-oriented education.The curriculum reform plays a core role in basic education reform which is becomingmore and more urgent.So the new curriculum reform puts national, local and schoolthree courses management system into practice in view of the traditional coursemanagement system is too concentrated to change.But now during the process ofbasic education curriculum reform lacking of curriculum resource has becoming abottleneck.what’s worse, parents as a special curriculum resources has not beenproperly development in curriculum reform. All of those are opposed to therequirement of the new curriculum reform which actively promotes the developmentand use a variety of courses of internal and external resources.In view of other scholars’research and knowing the foundations and questions ofresearch, this thesis makes a theoretical interpretation of parents curriculum resources.It mainly use the literature method to get information about current situations andproblems with the development and use of parents curriculum resources.By this study, there are some questions among the development and use ofparents curriculum resources: parents are misleaded by the false educational values；parents’ involvement in school education are hindered; parents know little aboutparents curriculum resources; Schools lack sufficient knowledge and effectiveprotection in the development and utilization of curriculum resources of parents;teachers do not play a core role in the development and utilization of curriculumresources of parents. Therefore, this study offers some strategies to the developmentand use of parents curriculum resources: parents as an important supporter of thecurriculum reform; parents participate in classroom teaching reform; parents act as participants in School-based curriculum’s development; parents act as helpers inacademic activities; parents as participants in curriculum and teaching evaluation.
