With the gradual development of the market economy and society, demands forcapable talents from enterprises also increase. As a national supplementary force toimplement compulsory education, private colleges have been paid great attention to inthe last ten years and have become a vital new force in cultivating high–qualityskilled talents. The counselors in private colleges are an important part of the school,who are an essential force for colleges to help carry out the students education, aswell as cultivate the comprehensive abilities of the students. However, due to theconstraints of private colleges and the impact of employment, the instability ofcounselors in private colleges appears. It not only results in the loss of humanresources in colleges, but also affects the normal development of college teachingactivities.Based on the theory of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, this studyhas reviewed the related statistics to expound the causes of turnover of private collegecounselor job, evaluation and work satisfaction of Private College Counselors. Withthe help of related statistics, questionnaire survey, individual interview, part of privatecolleges in Fujian province information related to turnover has been received.Therefore, through the analysis of the information and the present status of privatecolleges and universities counselor, as well as comparing Private College Counselorsin job satisfaction and organizational commitment in different dimensions, this studyputs forward the following suggestions: private colleges can stabilize their counselorsthrough enhancing the job satisfaction and organizational commitment, so as toacquire a stable counselors team, which will ensure the normal teaching activities,improve teaching quality, and achieve the final goal of promoting social andeconomic development.
