Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Education occupies an important position inthe history of education. Especially its elementary education curriculum lays the basis ofa new Chinese school education courses. The curriculum implementation of the BorderRegion elementary education has made significant achievements in school curriculumbuilding and reform, with starting from the production and actual life. Faced with thedemands of study of curriculum implementation and the problems in current reform ofbasic education, we should learn some successful experience from the curriculumimplementation and reform of elementary education of the Border Region.This thesis consists of seven parts the main contents. The first part is introduction,mainly talks about the background and significant of this paper. The theoretical basis ofthis thesis mainly in the first two chapters: The first chapter is prolegomenon, whichconsists view of the literature, research content and methods, the prolegomenon partanalyses the achievements and the shortcomings of the study on elementary education ofShaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region in the academic circles; the second chapter is theoverview of our country’s study on curriculum implementation, makes the concept of“curriculum implementation” clear, and evaluates the study of our curriculumimplementation. The third chapter introduces the history background and development ofelementary education curriculum implementation of the Border Region from the BorderRegion’s formation, the elementary education development, and its place in history. Theforth part is this paper’s key part, which mainly discusses about the influences that thelesson plans, teachers, teaching modes and methods, evaluation methods and some otherfactors besides school affect on the curriculum implementation of the Border Regionelementary education. Based on the forth chapter, the fifth chapter analyses the mainproblems in the curriculum implementation of the Border Region elementary education, also includes the main characteristics, precious experience by comparing with elementaryeducation in Kuomintang. The last chapter digs out valuable enlightens for our currentcurriculum reform, and points out some expects to the future curriculum reform.During the war, the Central Committee and the Border Region Governmentovercome the difficulties like hard situation, material shortages, lack of funds, made agreat contribution to developing the primary education and improving people’s culturallevel, its advanced teaching philosophy and various teaching modes and methods all offerus a good example to today’s elementary education curriculum reform.
