Under the background of new curriculum reform in our country currently, it hasbecome an inevitable trend and requirement to build up a high efficient classroom and tocultivate students’ ability of innovation and practice. It requires that teachers should notonly focus on students’ level of comprehensive knowledge, but also pay attention tocultivate students’ practical ability, letting students involve in every teaching segmentpersonally so as to explore some effective classroom teaching modes actively. This ishelpful in animating the classroom teaching atmosphere and giving students moreopportunities to practice by themselves at the same time, which enables the students tocooperate with and learn from each other. Besides, it can also impel them to pay attentionto their personalities and differences in learning. According to the practical ideas ofteaching rectification in the third middle school of Baihe where I worked, and theindividual teaching experiences in mathematics of middle school students, the authorproposed the idea of “table type” teaching mode, which emphasizes students’ personalinvolvement, asking them to learn by themselves while teaching and to practise duringthe classes. It can make students feel that learning is really a kind of fun and they willlearn willingly, happily and autonomously.The paper includes six different parts: part one is about the background of the newcurriculum reform, which mainly introduces the current situation and policies ofeducation in China; part two elaborates the causes of the new type of teaching mode andthe guiding theories used in writing the thesis, including national demand for talents,learning from the advanced and successful teaching modes, the unique concept and thetheoretical guidance of advocating the new education mode; part three introduces somepreparatory works before applying the “table type” teaching mode to the classroom, for example, the school should clarify the direction of curriculum reform, promote the ideasvigorously and the teachers should divide the groups and arrange the seats reasonably;part four is mainly about the implementation process of the new teaching mode, and it isalso the key part of the thesis, which introduces the different steps in using the “tabletype” teaching mode in detail, referring to finishing the guidance on learning,autonomous learning, cooperative learning, supervised learning, practicing in theclassroom, showing the learning results and rethinking after classes, etc. part five is aboutthe rethinking and evaluation of the new teaching mode, for example, people’s traditionaleducation ideas has been reformed, and students’ marks have been improved, especiallyfor the students who are not god at learning. Part six is the conclusion of the thesis. Itmainly discusses the application and promotion of the “table type” teaching mode, andour expectations on it. The author thinks that the “table type” teaching mode will beimproved and perfected with the test of time and practice, and it will definitely be helpfulto improve mathematics teaching in middle school.The new teaching mode is an effective approach in classroom teaching, because itnot only has the instructions of scientific theories but also has the practical performancesin classroom teaching. It pays much attention to train students’ practical ability, researchability, and creative ability so as to cultivate the comprehensive talents which isemphasized by the whole country.
