Since Chinese was separated as an independent disciplinein1904, the oral communication of middle school has beenthrough many ups and downs for a century. Now in a new roundof curriculum reform, the oral communication as one of the fivelearning areas is placed in a very important position in theory.However, there are many problems in practice.Since the fall of1998, some achievements have beenmade,but generally many problems also has been existedespecially in rural schools which is more serious in the oralcommunication teaching experiments of ZhenFeng.This articlesets four rural schools in ZhenFeng as research objects anduses the research methods of questionnaire survey, interviewand the observation method during the research. It has made aninvestigation of the present situation of ZhenFeng’s ruralmiddle school Chinese oral communication teaching. The authoranalyzes the reasons and raises correspondingcountermeasures.The full text is divided into four parts: the first partis the general situation of oral communication teachingresearch, mainly is the requirement of oral communication ofthe concept of oral communication and "Chinese course standard of full-time compulsory education". The second part is thedevelopment general situation of oral communication teaching,rural middle school students’ language developmentcharacteristics in the ZhenFeng County, The third part ofZhenFeng rural status survey and analysis of Chinese oralcommunication teaching in middle school, questionnaire surveyand interviews to involve the spoken language communicationteaching in middle school teachers, textbooks, students’ability, environmental factors, on the basis of it, theexisting problems of oral communication teaching in ruralmiddle school.In the fourth part I put forward the scientificand reasonable to explore the operation of rural Chinese oralcommunication teaching strategy, strengthen teachers building,improve the oral communication teaching ability, use effectiveresource, cultivate students’ sense of language, basic skillstraining students oral communication. Offering special oralcommunication course, the creation of context, to stimulatestudents interest in the training of oral communication, oralcommunication attitudes and habits, improve the students oralcommunicative ability.
