Secondary vocational school as the main body of vocational education plays an importantrole in developing economy, improving the livelihood and promoting social harmony, it is theimportant way to solve the problem of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" in our country,which is a key link in the process of relieve the contradictions of labor supply and demandstructure. With the rapid development of economy and science technology, demand of society tothe skilled worker is more and more high. Occupational education is receiving more and moreattention. Medium occupational schools specializing in training skilled workers, whichundertake an increasingly important mission. With the deepening of educational reform and theexpansion of higher education, the high school stage of education is as well progressivelyvicious competition, the enrollment issues of secondary occupational education come to the fore.On the one hand, it is the vicious competition of secondary vocational schools and ordinary highschool admissions, face the problem, but also a large number of surplus labor cannot find jobs.On the other hand, it is the enterprise requires a lot of technical employees, facing theembarrassment of unable to recruit employees. The shortage of skilled workers has become abottleneck restricting the development of enterprises in our country, how to expand theoccupation schooling enrollment, deliver more specialized talents for the society, has becomethe urgent problem for us，which having very important realistic significance.This paper studies the secondary vocational school in Shangqiu, the problems facing theSecondary Vocational School admissions process were analyzed, and puts forward relevantcountermeasures. Chapter one puts forward a brief introduction of admissions related concepts,research status at home and abroad enrollment of secondary vocational schools, researchpurposes and research methods. The second chapter of the paper expounds our countrysecondary vocational school and elaborates the contemporary situation of secondary vocationalschool to recruit students in Henan province, and the reasons for reduction in secondaryvocational school students in Henan province were analyzed. At the same time, the chaptercarries on the investigation to the secondary vocational school in Shangqiu, the problems foundin the admissions process of secondary vocational school, such as insufficient enrollment, thepoor quality of students, the enrollment method is simple and so on, and analyzes the reasons ofexisting problems. At last, the chapter studies the problem existing in the process of secondaryvocational school recruit students from inside and outside two aspects, Suggest to build goodmechanism of secondary vocational school recruit students, Transform government functions, school building characteristics and society actively involved in the three measures to solve theproblem of secondary vocational school recruit students, which promotes the comprehensivedevelopment of secondary vocational school.
