The Social Field of Kindergarten’s Studies is in developing and perfecting inChina. To review and summarize the development of this field in a certain period oftime is conducive to accumulation of research achievements,,summarization ofexperiences, as well as realization of problems, and has a positive effect on the SocialField of Kindergarten’s Studies.This study attempts to through bibliometric method analysis the Social Field ofKindergarten’s Studies in China from three points. Firstly, analysis its literatureresearches and its dynamic changes since "program" promulgated in July,2001.Secondly, analysis changes of research subjects in this field, research methods, themain researchers and research status. Finally, analysis its developing trend andcharacteristics, and doing researches on its further development.This research’s data are mainly fetched from the CNKI database (China NationalKnowledge Infrastructure). The research retrieved a total of126papers about theSocial Field of Kindergarten’s Studies through Chinese Journal Full—text Database.By statistical analysis for the papers on their periodical distribution, research subjects,methods, citations, authors and their institutions, the study has made followconclusions. First, Researches in this field have received much attention and theirachievements are growing rapidly, however the research quality needs to be improved.Second, they possess higher academic value and theoretical value. Third, researchesare mainly emphases on the implementation of the Social Field of Kindergarten’sStudies. Fourth, all the researches are dispersed in subjects, unitary in researchmethodology, relatively concentrated in research areas, insufficient on publicattentions, deficient in cooperation among the authors. Therefore, in order to furtherdeveloping and perfecting the Social Field of Kindergarten’s Studies in China, theauthor suggests that: enrich methods on the Social Field of Kindergarten’s Studies,promote diversification of research methods; pay more attention on the subjects that isrelatively weak among current researches; put more efforts on internationalcomparison and cross-cultural comparative research of the Social Field of Kindergarten’s Studies; pay more attention on the research of kindergarten teachers’development of professional in the society field; improving the absorption of foreignliterature and reference.
