Using the oral history method in middle school history teaching is a beneficialexploration.It’s reasonable use will have positive influence on many sides. In order toachieve better teaching effect,We need to consider many factors when use the oralhistory method in real teaching. Based on the oral history teaching case in a middleschool, follow the idea of action research,through the questionnaire survey ofstudents who participated the oral history teaching, individual students and teachers’interview investigation, the article thinks about the problems of oral history teachingand improvement strategy.The study found that in the selection of content we emphasize the links with thetextbook content, but without considering the content’s uniqueness that lead torepetition of many students’ interview content; In the report stage of interview results,it’s difficult to unfold each group’s interview results that affect students’ participation;In the case of student group to participate in the oral history interviews, some studentshave the problem of "task"; The dispersion of students’s participate and the interviewresults cannot reflect lead to some difficulties for students’ examination andassessment of situations.In order to solve the above problems we need to do the following several aspectswork: When select the content we need to follow three standards:relevance, typicalityand popularity; On the approach of oral history teaching, we should pay attention tothe details of the arrangement at various stages; For students’ assessment problem weemphasize students’ participation in the course of teaching, and process, and use it asan important part of the students’ grades; About the relationship between the oralhistory teaching and classroom history teaching, it puts forward an integral andcomplementary of oral history teaching.
