Oral history teaching refers to the application of oral history in teaching. It contains “active oral history" and " passive oral history". As a means of education, oral history teaching plays a more and more important role in the history of education in middle school and University in Europe and the United States.In China, because of some certain reasons, oral history teaching cannot be effectively carried out.The core value and the function of the junior middle school history teaching is to make the students interested in the continuation and development of human history and help them understand Chinese civilization and historical value and the practical significance. The history teaching should also help to develop students’ feelings of patriotism, pioneering vision of the world, and understanding of the overall trend of the world history. It should help students to form their initial formation of a correct outlook of the world, life and value view, and to lay the foundation for a" qualified citizens with good comprehensive quality. Oral history teaching will play very crucial role in the process of achieving this goal. Its achievement is cannot be ignored, and will also be unforgettable.
