In2001, the basic spirit of "the Summary of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial)" issued by the Ministry of Education is: paying attention to the non-rationaldevelopment, for example, the emotion, the attitude, the will, and so on; the basiccontent is: let each student develop, promote each student included the learning difficultstudents in their original level. Under the background of the Reform of New CurriculumReform, the educational problem of the learning-difficult students are received moreand more attention from school, even the whole society.During the process of senior, especially in the first team of senior1,it is a verycommon phenomenon that students have much difficulty in learning geography.Therefore, this study chooses “difficulty in learning geography for senior1students”as a subject and its main objects are senior1students of Guanghe secondary school; ituses two main study methods, namely investigation by questionnaire, visiting anddiscussion, to seek the causes that make it difficult for senior1students to learngeography. Besides, the study begins with four major factor in education and teachingmethods, and puts fornard some stragies to urge students with difficulty in leaninggeography to change better.By means of investigation by questionnaire and visiting and discussion, this studyseparately starts with students, teacher, school, families and social factors to find outwhat causes students in senior1to have trouble in learning geography. As to thesecauses, this study will give you suitable education strategies.
