Study On The Characteristics Of Higher Vocational College Students In Sichuan Province And Training Mode

Although higher vocational education has made enormous progresses in recent years, being the main force of popularization of higher education, it fosters numbers of senior technicians for economic construction and social development and contributes greatly to the overall competitiveness of China. Meanwhile it must be ignored that higher vocational college student cannot meet the demand for high-quality talents in its quantity and size with the rapid social development. During the proceeding of higher vocation and technical education, the gap between the social demand and supply of higher vocational and technical education presents.Higher vocational and technical education has been prejudiced for long time. Those working as a technician are looked down upon. Higher vocational colleges are reluctant choice for students and their parents. What are the common characteristics for them at the bottom of higher education system. Are their capabilities, personality and hobbies suitable for requirements of higher vocation education? Which training mode should be taken according to their own characteristics. For the sake of shortening the gap between the social demand and supply of higher vocational and technical education, the paper analyzes characteristics of higher vocational education students in Sichuan province and training mode. On the basis of relevant characteristic developing theories and the demand of enterprises for higher vocational education students, attempting to chose the higher vocational education students in Sichuan province object of study, it discusses the present situations and problems of developing characteristics of higher vocational education students in Sichuan province in order to establish the training mode that meets the demand of Enterprises. Finally it provides constructive suggestions and strategies to further improve the training mode.The paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter1expounds background, purpose and significance of research as well as methodology and research perspective. Chapter2introduces related theories concerning characteristics training and literature review along with the present situations at home and abroad. Based on higher vocational education students in Sichuan province, chapter3analyzes the characteristics of them and that of university students so as to locate the existing problems. According to the former analysis, chapter4puts forward reasonable advice on characteristics developing and training mode. Chapter5summarizes the paper at large.
