Mental Toughness (Mental Toughness) is the athlete to adapt to the various needs of sports situations, overcome stress, stay focused and confident, and finally reach personality traits or psychological state of the target (Gucciardi,2012). Mental Toughness is the nature of sport psychological resilience embodied (Yu-Kai Chang,2012) in the context of daily training. In this paper, expert interviews, field surveys and questionnaires scales and other methods to cross-strait different projects, different exercise levels, different grades, different age and gender training college athletes for the study of the characteristics of movement constituent of mental toughness measurements tools for deepening research; on this basis, Youyi level cross-strait different sports, different grades, different age and gender training college men’s basketball player for the study, conducted empirical research toughness qualities sport psychology. Found:(1) Mental Toughness trait sport Scale questionnaire obtained four factors were named as active struggle, resistance, endure pain and rational response;(2)a rational response to the dimensions of the original scale on each item discrimination can be a reasonable distinction, and has good reliability and validity;(3)the characteristics of the movement of cross-strait college basketball players mental Toughness is no significant difference;(4) cross-strait University Basketball athletes life and character of the level of mental toughness contact sport very closely, Taiwan college basketball players of different gender characteristics significantly different mental toughness;(5)during college, trait sport of cross-strait college Basketball Players has no significant improvement in mental toughness. |
