Scientific model is an important branch of scientific method, which improved the development of the education on scientific method, and the education of scientific model is that teaching by understanding and building the models. The exploring of scientific model has been gradually improving internationally, however, we less emphasia on the education of scientific models, and less on the overall research, even to collate and summarize all the scientific models. Because of the benefit of the scientific models to the development of understanding on the nature of science for teacher and thinking for students, it is very helpful for us to propose the theoretical basis on scienctific model and to practice. In this paper, we explored the current situation of high school and their problems on scientific model, through the theoretical basis based on the international perspective. So that to put forward the reasonable proposals for the science teacher.In this paper, we used the mixed research methods that involved in the quantitative methods and qualitative methods. We gathered the quantitative data of formative assessment though the form of closed questionnaire and semi-open questionnaires to the teacher and student in terms of the difference of them. Then we used the SPSS analysis software to analyze the differences, correlation, comparation and regression. Meanwhile, we combined the in-depth interviews and teaching fragmen to qualitatively analyze the status of the education on scientific models. Finally, we proposed the implications and prospects on the application of scientific model, which is based on the theoretical and empirical results.
