High school students are the future of the country, carrying the hope of national rejuvenation. However, in recent years, Luxurious living has become the current fashion. The Chinese traditional virtue of being diligent and thrifty has been abandoned by some people. some high school students have no sense of thrift, spend money like water. There is a very strong phenomenon in high school, such as "white rank" and "aristocratic" phenomenon. Excessive focus on material enjoyment not only increased the economic burden of the family, but also affects the healthy growth of students. Mentality and ideas of this group of high school students have a strong demonstration effect to the whole society. Moreover, high school as a nexus of life stage, which will have a profound impact on the formation of their worldview and values. Further more, that impact will radiate the thorough society. Therefore, the high school students must learn the Chinese traditional virtue of being diligent and thrifty. The school is the main place of the virtues of education, and ideological and political course it is a bridgehead virtue of education. Therefore, the school should change the traditional methods of ideological and political course teaching; the education methods of virtues of thrift should be expanded. As for high school students, the cultivation of good habit of thrift is very important. Ideology of thrift, habits and self-management education is needed. This paper discussed the current phenomenon that is the political class lack of the traditional virtues of thrift education at the stage of high school.This paper is divided into three parts total.The first part is a theoretical explanation of related concepts. First researching the connotation, formation and development of traditional virtues of thrift, and then deeply analyzed the content and features of ideological and political course in high school education. The traditional virtues of diligence and thrift is formed from thousands of years of history in the development of the Chinese nation, which contact was riched and developed with the development of history, but the spirit of the traditional virtues of thrift will never be changed. Nowadays, efforts to strengthen ideological and political course of high school education in the traditional virtues of thrift will be reflected socialist core values, is the inevitable trend of low-carbon environmental protection movement is the key to solving the current social atmosphere of unhealthy consumption, is the formation of the modern family ethics and good social habits the important part is to build a conservation-oriented society and the need for a comprehensive well-off society built. The second part summarizes and analyzes the reason of the lack of thrift virtue education performance. At beginning of this chapter described the status of the Chinese traditional virtue of being diligent and thrifty in political class of high school, focusing on summing up the performance of the lack of traditional virtues of thrift, such as unhealthy values and consumer attitudes, thrift consciousness, serious waste a sense of wealth, lack of financial knowledge. After the formation mechanism of high school students from the perspective of the causes of the current values of the ideological and political course of high school education thrift missing analyzed that the lack of teaching materials, school teaching and teacher’s lack of attention, the subject of thrift education misunderstanding led to lack of the main reason.As the focus of this article, the third part of the main virtues of thrift education goals, principles, contents and methods to conduct a careful, in-depth analysis. High school ideological and political course the traditional virtues of thrift goal of education is to train high school students thrift ideology, develop habits of thrift, so that high school students have the ability to self-management education, and ultimately make it to establish thrifty ideas, raise a thrift style.
