Chinese traditional virtues are the core of Chinese outstanding traditional morals,the quintessence of the Chinese nation's moral civilization for more than thousands of years,embody the deep level of the Chinese nation's value standard and the code of conduct,are the source of Chinese ideological and moral education,and promote the maintenance of social order and social construction.High School is the golden Age of Life growth,is the key period of the establishment and formation of outlook on life,values and world Outlook,to educate high school students with traditional virtues of the Chinese nation,to nourish their mind,to improve their personality,to enhance their quality,is the meaning of moral education in senior high school students,is the current issue of political education.This paper,taking Marxism as the guiding ideology,discusses the Chinese traditional virtues education of high school students through historical comparative method and literature research method,which promotes the Chinese traditional virtues study of high school students in the new period.The first part reviews the development of Chinese traditional morals and sums up the main contents of Chinese traditional virtues.Combined with the demands of high school students ' moral education in the new era,this paper lays down the foundation of traditional morality from "benevolence" to Chinese traditional morals from pre-Qin period until the development of each historical stage.On the basis of the deep understanding of Chinese traditional morals,The main content of Chinese traditional virtue is expounded from the internal and external virtue of standing on one's own feet,the traditional virtue of the individual at the social level and the traditional virtue of the individual at the national level,and provides reference for the content of Chinese traditional virtues education of high school students in new era.The second part expounds the significance of the Chinese traditional virtues education of senior high school students and sums up the main contents of the Chinese traditional virtues education.With the rich ideological and moral education resources of Chinese traditional virtues,the education of high school students has a good foundation for the study of high school students and their family and work in the future,to cultivate high school students ' noble moral personality and to enhance their self-confidence of national culture.The Chinese traditional virtues to the high school student's education significance is remarkable,is the moral education essence,in the new period,takes the Marxism as the guidance,unifies the socialist core value,from the personal morals,the family virtue,the social morals and the professional ethics four aspects to analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the traditional virtues education of high school students.In the present environment,the high school students ' traditional virtues education not only has the opportunity but also has challenge,the market economy has stimulated the socialism market,also has injected the new vigor for the high school student traditional virtues education;During the period of social transformation,moral transformation provides a strong driving force for the traditional virtue education of high school students.In the period of social
