In the21st century, the quality-oriented education brings the new students view and teachers view. The standard of being a good student is measured not only by the academic performance but also the physical and mental health. Meanwhile, the social requirements for teachers not only stay in "sermonizing, teaching and answering questions", but also to give students guidance in learning attitude, learning method and mental health.As the demands and expectations of parents have improved, the students’learning adaptability problems, such as learning pressure and tired of learning highlight gradually. In the recent years, vicious and tragic events occurred on campus are common. In addition, the junior high school students’psychology and physiology will change after they come into adolescence. That demands them to adjust themselves to adapt to the learning styles and learning content of the junior high school. If a student has a good learning adaptability, he will successfully adapt to the life and study, otherwise it will affect the improvement of academic performance, the physical and mental health. Especially in the rural areas, the underdeveloped economy and culture makes the learning adaptability problems more special.Social work is a discipline that focuses on the study of human behavior and social environment. It has unique discipline advantage which the value concept and professional way to deal with the problem of rural junior high school students’learning adaptability. Therefore, I conducted a review of previous research literature, combined with the teacher’s home family background and social work professionals have learned and selected this research topic.In this paper, I selected hometown in rural junior high school students as research subjects. I used qualitative research methods and collected data through semi-structured interviews. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of data, I summarized the current situation of rural junior high school students’ learning adaptability problems. Under the inspiration of ecological systems theory, I analyzed the influence factors of the rural junior high school students’learning adaptability problems. And then, I try to use the professional social work practices to intervene micro system, and propose countermeasures and suggestions to the problem of rural junior high school students in mezzo system.The study found as follows:Rural junior high school students in the learning adaptability exhibit the following characteristics:First, for the learning attitude, from lower grades to higher grades overall tend to correct gradually; Second, lack of awareness of the importance of learning methods leads to a lack of good study habits; Third, learning environment presents a relatively simple features in the multivariate relationships. Fourth, the imbalances of physical and mental development lead to the developmental psychological problems.The rural junior high school students’learning adaptability problems are influenced by adolescent physical and mental development characteristics, peer relationships, family environment and school environment. In micro system and mezzo system, different forms of interaction between the different elements affecting the rural junior high school students learning ability to adapt.In micro system and mezzo system of the ecological systems which is centered by rural junior high school students, social work is viable and has advantage of the intervention to rural junior high school students’learning adaptability problems. In addition, group work method loved by the rural high school students and it is conducive to resolve the rural junior middle school students learning adaptability problems. Casework can be combined with the daily work of the class teacher. But, the feasibility of community work method is smaller.
