With the concern about the social adaptation of young people,the social adaptation of junior high school students is becoming more and more prominent,and has become a universal problem faced by junior high school students.From September 2016 to January 2017,in the course of school social work practice,the students visited the students who had social adaptation problems almost everyday,which aroused the interest of the author.In the course of the study,the author finds that the social adaptability of junior high school students is highly concerned about the social adaptability of school social work and psychology.School social work and psychology are two different research fields.They have both overlapping and paradigm differences in the research object setting,research objectives and theoretical methods.Because of the social work profession is based on psychology,sociology and management support for the main disciplines,is a process with clear value and to study the subjective purpose of setting intervention,is the practical aspect of behavior change and ethical orientation of the people.The psychological phenomenon and behavior and psychology is the study of human though,but the subject classification it belongs to science,the research paradigm of natural science,the research process to observe and validate,value free principle.This study compares the study of social adaptation in psychology and school social work,junior high school students,and social adaptation of junior high school students,and finds that there is a high degree of relevance in the orientation of research objectives.For example,in the study of adolescent social adaptation problem of psychology,the main conclusions of the study are to adolescent learning adaptation,adaptation,relationship with parents and peer relationship adaptation,self consciousness and emotional change in five aspects.In the W school social work(including group work and case work)intervention is selected with the above five problems with a high degree of coincidence,this reflects the close relation between the psychology of basic research and applied research of social work.There are obvious differences in the research methods between the intervention research of school social work and the basic research of psychology.The first difference for the intervention of social work,such as group work pays more attention to the control of the work process,emphasize the effect of the activities,to a certain extent,ignored the theoretical thinking of different disciplines,the scientific evaluation of desalination,and psychological research methods pay more attention to the psychological mechanism of reaction,control,observation and mathematical statistics.School of social work in social adaptability problems involving the junior middle school students has too much focus on the process and ignore the science,because there is no distinction for theoretical work group work and case of their own,is the realization of the form and process of group work,the lack of analysis on.In school social work,we should pay great attention to the complementary performance of scientific methods,and effectively improve the work level and work efficiency of school social work.
