Quality is the eternal theme of higher education, but also the lifeblood of highereducation and the key to sustainable development. In a market economy, the market“invisible hand” is bound to regulate the quality of higher education, the marketmechanism of quality assurance in higher education has become an important force tobe Neglected. I selected to study the perspective of market quality assurance of highereducation, the purpose is to try to reveal the quality of higher education under marketperspective, analyzing the role of market mechanisms in higher education qualityassurance methods,and to further improve and strengthen the quality assurance ofhigher education make relevant strategy.First, higher education has become the world market can not avoid the reality ofhigher education development, and market allocation of resources has its weaknessesand shortcomings, so the market is only limited involvement in the field of highereducation. This is our starting premise where research to protect higher educationfrom the perspective of market theory. Secondly, the concept of quality control andquality education are closely linked, and quality of higher education is accompaniedby higher conversion philosophical vision changes. Examine the quality of highereducation from a philosophical perspective view of the changes, including highereducation philosophical epistemology, value theory, and political theory, I believethat higher education in three different philosophical formed the basis of a differentquality of higher education. Elite higher education stage is epistemology is thephilosophical basis, pursuing an academic-oriented knowledge quality concept.Higher value of popular education is based on the philosophy, the concept of qualityshould be combined together diversity and the need of unity. Under the guidingphilosophy of political theory, higher education must serve politics, pursuing a co-education quality prescriptive. We believe that the establishment of higher educationin a market-driven concept is based on the philosophy of pragmatism based productquality of higher education. Again, market mechanism is an inevitable choice in qualityassurance of higher education, we accountability mechanisms from the market, themarket competition mechanism, the market feedback mechanism to explain the threeaspects of the role of market forces in higher education quality assurance approach.Market accountability mechanisms regulating the quality of higher education in ways including satisfaction survey ranked university, students or alumni, socialintermediary organizations educational quality certification;market competitionmechanism to adjust the quality of higher education in ways including competitionbetween the schools, the school the new competition among members compete virtualeducation; market feedback mechanism to regulate the quality of higher educationmethods include feedback mechanisms graduate employment market and the feedbackmechanism of higher education services market. Finally, from the government’smacro-level, meso-level college students proposed an improved micro-level of qualityassurance in higher education policy. Decentralization of government need to giveuniversities autonomy, while maintaining macro-control of the higher educationmarket; Internal Quality Assurance universities to introduce the concept of qualitymanagement, brand management awareness, the implementation of total qualitymanagement;Reconstruction student “consumer” concept to increase student’s rightto choose, pay attention to the quality of student participation in universitymanagement.
