The formation ofcomprehensive language usage is based on student’s integral literacydevelopment like language skill, knowledge skill, emotional attitude,learningstrategy and culture consciousness.Language skill and Knowledge skill is the basis of ability of comprehensivelanguage usage. Real language practical activity,the development of abilities touse English, a long time accumulation and practice will converted into the abilityof comprehensive language usage. It determines a teacher should pay attention tocultivate and develop students’ ability of language usage in the teaching process.The development of ability of English usage should be penetrated into dailyteaching.Cooperative Learning is a kind of mutual aid study that students has explicitof responsibility division to complete common target and mission. CooperativeLearning is the name of a series of methods to organize and facilitate classteaching. Cooperation behavior of partner is accomplished through organizingstudents to practice in a3-5people group. Students study though cooperationand communication in a group, which works as a unit of society. This thesispresents a survey about an English teaching situation of a primary school rfomBaoshan District, which studies the primary-school English instruction based oncooperation strategically. My object of this study is40students rfom my Class4Grade5, and the other40students rfom Class5Grade5is reference. Thecontents of this thesis mainly include the following aspects:Part One: Combing the difficult exposed in the proceed of primary-schoolEnglish cooperative learning. The leaching goal is monotonous,neglectingdeveloping students’ innovation power of thought and team spirit; TraditionalCollege English teaching has placed emphasis on basic language knowledge,ignoring st’udents knowledge and experience. It is not conducive for developingstudents’ ability on using comprehensive knowledge. The situation that teachers rule in class teaching promotes students to be passive listeners is not conduciveto stimulate students’ interests and enthusiasm.Part Two: The problems existing in the cooperative learning process. Suchas group study activities are not even, lacking initiative, and hard to last a longtime. It’s diiffcult for a teacher who can not give accurate guidance and enoughinteraction to deifne his role in the proceeding of t’eaching. Its necessary toconsummate the encouragement system.Part Three: Analyzing, chewing over and proposing some strategies.Interdependence, clear-cut assignment of responsibility, interpersonalcommunication skill, sharing and reasonable comparing provides a reference forprimary English-teaching and atfer-class activities.
