Cooperative learning is advocated as important strategies to teaching by curriculum reform of our country,which makes up for class teaching and lack of individualized learning,promotes all-round progress of the skills, knowledge and values of emotional attitudes,as well as increasingly used in English teaching.Whereas cooperative learning of English in high school and middle school is studied more than which in primary school by most of researchers.Primary English education is now universal in a nationwide scale in our country.Therefore it is not only the background of the ages but also requirement of standard of English curriculum to educate the spirit and skills of cooperation in Primary English education.This thesis includes the following three parts:Partâ… :An overview of English cooperative learning in primary school. Discuss the meaning,elements and the theoretical basis of cooperative Learning,characteristics and the meaning of English cooperative learning in primary school.In order to lay the theoretical foundation for the Research of this article.Partâ…¡:The problem and causes of English cooperative learning in primary school.Through the research of literature and the survey of school. We summarize the question in the implementation of English cooperative learning.We find the problem mainly following:cooperative learning is used too much;It is formulaic and inefficient;The teachers have the lack of monitoring capacity and don't participate in actively;Students participate passively and insufficiently;Assessment of cooperative learning is not timely and comprehensive.The causes of the above questions are multidimensional.The article focuses on the analysis of them from teachers,students and school.Partâ…¢:Improve on measures of English cooperative learning in primary schools.Have combined with the pupils' characteristics and English subjects,we give tactics correspondingly.First,install a comprehensive teaching goals.Second,choose the right learning content.The third,group some teams which are accorded to the principle of reasonablemethods.The forth,cultivate students' co-operation consciousness;The fifth,cultivate students' co-operation skills;The sixth, establish the mechanism of scientific evaluation mechanism,and focus on motivating students' enthusiasm and self-confidence.
