It’s the request of the new course standard by Ministry of Education that weshould encourage students to learn with inquiries, autonomously and cooperatedly. Weshould develop the students’good habits in adopting information technology to raiseinterests, cultivate specialities and enhance learning qualities. We should strengthen thestudents’ abilities in introducing questions, analyzing and solving. Also, the revisededition of Junior High courses standards in2011illuminated five elementary concepts,which clearly bring forward exploiting curriculum resources and expandingEnglish-learning channels.As the wide application of multimedia and the extensive spread of internet, theteaching by information technology in Junior High school was guaranteed. English, asthe application-oriented subject, combined with information technology, leads to thebest means to develop students’abilities and the inevitable option in modern Englishteaching.The research focused on that, firstly, When, What and Who could be able toimprove the effects and quality in English teaching. Secondly, exploring the Englishteaching methods and pattern in the circumstances that multimedia and internet is used.Thirdly,how to develop students’interests, abilities in inquiry learning, autonomouslearning and cooperative learning, and at last analyzing the disadvantages andprecaution in e-learning.The research used the experience of other results of related theories and teachingin our school for reference.It gave a brief on the problems of English teaching.And itcombined with the request of the development programs on education,which have tointegrate between informational technology and curriculums,and the request to Englishteachers under the new course standard.We intended to play an activerole in changingideas of teachers,improve them to solve the problems in daily teaching by informationtechnology besides traditional methods and make the information technology’s superiority become work. At the same time,education use information technology todevelop students’interests, abilities in inquiry learning, autonomous learning andcooperative learning.
