The secondary occupation education,including some high school occupation training,its purpose is to train a large number of skilled personnel and high-quality workers based oncompulsory education. Is learning needs to urge students to learn, and is willing to work hard forone of the factors, is also one of the most important motive phenomenon. As the secondaryvocational schools’ prosperity depend on how well it can satisfy the vocational students’ learningneeds, otherwise they will die out. In view of this, we carry out an investigation and study of thesecondary vocational students learning needs in the Pearl River delta developed area of Guangzhoucity occupation school,through the questionnaire survey, cases collected, interviewing teachers andother methods to investigate their learning needs, so that we can accurately locate the training goalof vocational school in the new era of talent, the students’ learning needs the teaching plan,cultivate outstanding employers of self satisfaction to quality development of secondary vocationalschool students.Starting from the definition of learning need, this article study the summary of thequestionnaire data, the family’s background, the learning situation (learning attitude, learninginterest, learning method)of students in secondary vocational schools and explore from the need forself-development, self changing needs, the external driving force and other aspects. The teachersinterviewed on behalf clear that the highest motive power is self realization.This paper is divided into six chapters to discuss the investigation research of secondaryvocational school students learning needs. The first chapter: the introduction, needs and learningneeds; The second: provide the theorization of learning needs research; The third:theinvestigation research; The fourth: case study; The fifth: make further probe into study biggestpower is self realization; the sixth chapter: conclusion. With a hope that the secondary vocationalschool students’ motivation can be increased, the construction of the secondary occupationeducation can be socially identityfied, loved by students, recognized by parents, and highlydeveloped.
