The fusion of mobile telecommunication technology and computer technology haspromoted the birth of mobile learning. At the same time, the popularity of mobile terminalsand development of wireless internet technology pushed forward the further development ofmobile learning, which enables students not to be limited to suck up knowledge passively intraditional classroom setting, but choose independent and characteristic learning according totheir own needs. Today, because of the informatization, new curriculum reform put forwardthree important theories—focusing on students’ development, emphasizing teachers’ growthand paying enough attention to the learning-oriented teaching. Students’ learning style is notthe way to receive systematic knowledge passively but explore the transition of knowledgeindependently and cooperatively. Thus, teachers do not impart knowledge only in theclassroom setting, but change the teaching methods, reconstruct classroom teaching andimprove themselves by means of taking part in studying the curriculum. All these changeswould certainly lead to the reform of teaching materials. The backward and stable contentstraditional paper teaching materials can not meet the need of this reform. E-Textbook basedon using the latest information would be set a variety of media and interactive, and thusintroduced in education and teaching reform, which will not only promote the reform ofclassroom teaching, but put forward to the development of mobile learning.This thesis firstly sums up the existing problems in the development of e-textbook basedon studying development trends of mobile learning home and abroad and the application ofelectronic teaching materials and set the research goal and contents propped with relatedlearning theories and designing principles. Secondly the writer designed and achieved onechapter of iPad-based interactive e-Textbook via analyzing the characters of learners,combining full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum criterion (revised) (version2013)(the following is referred to as the New Curriculum in Primary Mathematics),adopting media technology of iBooks-Author and html5and expandable widget andexemplified with graph and geometry in the three classes of mathematic Grade Five primaryschool, in which teachers can conduct the teaching processes of lead-in, explaining,evaluation, feedback and homework and students can realize a new learningstyle—independent learning, classroom discussion and answering questions, real-timeexercises and feedback, homework and review. Thirdly, this thesis conducted experimentalcontrast between paper textbook based traditional teaching model, e-Textbook basedtraditional teaching model and e-Textbook based reversed teaching model, which shows thatthe designing and practicing of interactive e-Textbook exert better function in helpingstudents break through the difficult points, inspiring learning enthusiasm, improving learningefficiency and improving the ability of self-learning. Meanwhile, the conclusion would helpteachers in making similar teaching resources through designing and developing electronicteaching materials, exploring educational theories and mobile learning.
