Interactive share reading is based on heuristic problem to promote readingprocess, encouraging children to express their own reading experience. Childrencould get emotional support when sharing reading comprehension. Narrativeability is an important part of children’s language ability which is vitalsigniifcance for the ability to read, write and cognitive development. Thisresearch is focus on the effect of children’s narrative ability development with orwithout interactive share reading.The object of this research is to compare the narrative ability rfom50children in a primary school grade five of the ShangHai HongKou district with orwithout interactive share reading. In this research, which lasted12weeks,children in experimental group received interactive share reading while those incontrol group received traditional reading method. With the tool of colorfulspectrum evaluation system, we obtained the following results rfom analyzing ofthe experimental and control group before and atfer the test data:1.The test score of experimental group is significantly higher than control groupin narrative tone, dialogue, time mark, expressive, vocabulary and sentencestructure.2.Compared with the control group,the interactive share reading received inexperimental group could effectively promote the children’s ability of narrativeused in narrative tone, dialogue, time mark, expressive, vocabulary and sentence structure.In this research, interactive share reading way was attempted to use whichwas proved to boost the narrative ability of children. We look forward to thisresearch of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading model to provide thecorresponding reference.
