Reading is the most important learning activity in human society, which is also one of the most significant means of spreading information, communicating feelings, and mastering knowledge. Knowledge has been increasing dramatically in the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the21st century. As we know that in the information age, the modern science and technology has speeded up the outdated process of knowledge. So in high school education, the new curriculum advocates diverse learning styles, which are mainly manifested in learning and exploring independently. The basis of learning and exploring independently lies in reading. Only through constantly effective reading can students obtain all kinds of knowledge, enrich their own knowledge system and then build the complete physics knowledge framework. Therefore, the students can achieve the goal of physics learning by expanding the knowledge they learned.According to theory of reading constitution, theory of reading psychology and reading ability, I did a survey on their current situation in physics reading among the high school students to know the students’ understanding of the physics reading and figure out their existing problems. The reason why I study on the problems is that I want to focus on the direction of research and reading strategies through physics research and implementation. Train students to improve their reading ability in physics study so that students will attach much importance to physics reading, through gradually reading from low-level into high-level. In the end, the student can learn how to apply the way of thinking to physics learning. And we teachers can lay a foundation for their lifelong learning on physics for the high school students.
