The new teachers are an indispensable part of the teaching staff, their participationwill add vigor and vitality to the education, because the new teachers who have justgraduated from the school with the younger "vitality". When the new teachers leave thecampus to the primary school, which means they begin to walk into the teacher’sprofessional life and it is the beginning of the new teacher career. This stage plays animportant role in the teacher career development. However, the new teachers’ vocationaladjustment is not achieved overnight or smooth, they often encounter all sorts ofdifferent problems and difficulties. Coupled with the rapid development of modernsociety, the new curriculum reform pressure aggravates the new teachers’ burden inpsychology and physiology, which will seriously affect the new teachers’ occupationadaptation. If they can’t well adapt to the occupation, which not only affect the newteacher’s own development and mental health, but also affect students’ learning anddevelopment indirectly. Whether the new teachers adapt to the teachers’ professionallife quickly, stably and healthily or not has become a very serious problem.In order to understand of the new teachers’ vocational adaptability more deeply,this study focused on new teachers’ vocational adaptation case study, and selectedrandomly four new teachers in four primary schools in Chongqing four new teachers asthe observation samples. The four new teachers’ teaching age is between0-3years, theycome from different areas and different types of schools. This study adopted the“narrative research” of the qualitative study, the researcher participated personally in thenew teacher’s daily teaching activities to observe how they adapted to various situationsand encountered in the process and relevant countermeasures in the teacher occupation,then made the explanations based on analyzing and sorting. This study analyzedcomprehensively according to what the researcher observed, finding out the variousfactors that affected the new teachers’ vocational adjustment, and providing meaningfuladvice for shortening the period of vocational adjustment of the new teachers. There are many factors that affect new teachers’ vocational adjustment, but theresearch mainly based on the teachers’ characteristics and their vocational adjustmentdifficulties, this study selected the following four aspects, education teaching skills,interpersonal relationships, social pressure, the objective environment as a researchfocus, and carding analyzing and discussing the research material, summarizing thefactors that affect the new teachers’ occupation adaptation according to the discussionresults.Finally, some effective suggestions for the new teachers, schools and normaluniversities are put forward according to the influence factors, the suggestions includingthe new teacher self-adaptation, positive growth; perfect the school supportsystem, to help new teachers; normal colleges keep pace with the times and optimize thecurriculum; social support.
