“Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standards (2011Edition)"published after junior high school biology text books", which adapts with italso was revised, and was put into use in the autumn of2012.Although the2012edition of the new text book with the2001edition of original biologytextbook has little change, but for the first-line teachers, change how tocorrectly understand and grasp the new text book and earnestly implement the"new curriculum" is of crucial importance.In this paper, using the text book analysis of comparative law,investigation method of the questionnaire, interview law to the2012editionand the2001edition of the People Education Press edition "biology(gradeseven volume one)"textbook analysis, mainly on the two versions of the textbook from the basic structure of the teaching material content and system ofknowledge, teaching materials, teaching materials and the way of presentingthe implementation of curriculum standards the situation has been comparedin detail, and investigated the use of new materials in biology teaching. Studyfound that, compared with the original textbook, the contents of the newtextbook has not changed much, but the system of knowledge is morecomplete and clear, the lay out and presentation is more conducive to studentlearning initiative, more outstanding the feasibility and the openness ofinquiry, the illustrations are more vivid image, at the same time, the new textbook particular emphasis on the concept of teaching. Survey results showthat half of the teachers can grasp the main changes of the “new curriculum”,and there are more full understanding of the new curriculum standard and newtextbook. In the use of new textbook, most teachers for teaching the conceptof high priority, the implementation is good, but the implementation ofinquiry teaching is worrying. This paper suggests the new text book forteachers’ training, the key that should earnestly implement the curriculumstandards and relevant implementation strategy as training.
