Within the overall context of course reform, this thesis attempts to explore and analyze the applicationof humanistic tourism resources in the teaching of history, theoretically and practically. Althoughhumanistic tourism resources, as auxiliary resources, are of great significance in history classroom teaching,related studies are fewer and immature. Also, through questionnaires and interviews, the author finds thathumanistic tourism resources are less applied in history teaching in junior high schools of Xinxiang. Thereexists many problems, such as the inadequacy of attention from schools, teachers and students, theinsufficiency of teachers’ knowledge, lack of correspondent resource integration and communicationplatform, etc. Considering this, the author thinks that efforts should be made to deepen the understanding ofthe importance of humanistic tourism resources in history teaching, to improve the teachers’ relatedknowledge and to establish humanistic tourism resources database as well as teachers’ communicationplatform, aiming at the achievement of resource sharing. Furthermore, this thesis suggests that humanistictourism resources can be better applied in junior high school history teaching with the help of speciallectures, video display, field study and simulated tour guide, etc. These measures can not only help thestudents to acquire historical knowledge in an active classroom atmosphere, but also cultivatestudents’ awareness of learning from the past as well as protecting humanistic tourism resources. Theauthor sincerely hopes this research can provide some instructions and references in the application ofhumanistic tourism resources in junior high school history teaching.
