In the tide of the new round curriculum reform, some schools in Hainan Province beganto carry out the new curriculum among the students of the first grade in senior middle highschool from May,2009. The new curriculum will bring great changes to middle schools,including teaching aims, teaching thoughts, structure of curriculum, teaching methods,learning methods and assessments towards teachers and students.The purpose of this paper is to investigate the present situation of the high schools inDanzhou City, Hainan Province and puts forward some corresponding suggestions accordingto the research results, in order to provide reference to the administrative departments ofeducation in Danzhou City.The study objects of this article are chosen from the Danzhou City, Hainan Province,which include the students of senior middle high school from the No.1middle school, No.2middle school, No.3middle school, and Dongpo middle high school.This study mainly adopted the method of questionnaire survey to collect the originaldata, and the questionnaire consists of31questions, including the basic information ofstudents, students’ knowledge of mathematics, students’ emotion and attitude to learning, thelearning habits and learning methods, and the awareness of teachers’ teaching methods ofmathematics.This paper requires investigation to be Omni-directional, so the original data of thisstudy need to be collected by using several specific research methods, which including thefollowing methods:(1) Literature. The overall information are obtained from the schools and thedepartments charging education, as well as the data and referent literature on the issue writtenin previous years.(2) Questionnaire. The questionnaire survey is the main method of this investigation.(3) Interviews. The interview objects are from the sample of students within differentlearning levels, including the top students, medium students and poor learning students,chosen in a random.This paper consists of the following five parts.The first part briefly introduces the background, the significance of the topic, and expounds the current status of both domestic and international research on the topic.The second part tests out600students coming from four middle high schools ofDanzhou City by doing sampling questionnaire survey, using Excel to carry on the statisticalanalysis of the questionnaire results, and then obtained an important conclusion.The third part analyses the situation of the senior middle high school students inmathematics learning to solve the existing problems and offers the strategies in theperspective of teachers.The fourth part analyses the senior middle high school students in mathematics learningsituation to solve the existing problems and the offers strategies in the perspective of thestudents.The fifth part is the conclusion, which makes a general summary of the research ideas,approaches, methods, strategies and views, pointing out the limitations of the research and thedirection of future research.
