The Translation Problems And Teaching Methods Of Foreign Literature Works In Middle School Chinese Textbooks

Nowadays, there are many translation problems in the foreign literature works which areelected into the middle school Chinese textbooks. These problems lead to themisunderstanding of the foreign literature works and are not conducive to the realization ofthe teaching goal.In this paper, the translation problems of the foreign literature works in the middle schoolChinese textbooks are classified into three categories, including the deviation from theoriginal, the misunderstanding of the author and cultural difference. Then the reasonsresulting to the translation problems are divided into three groups, including the problems oftranslation skills and the translator, historical background and cultural difference, etc. Finally,four teaching methods to the problems are put forward: changing the way of understanding;broadening the knowledge of the background; integrating the foreign literature works;understanding and broadening the multi culture horizons.
