The Research Of Casework In Assimilating Old People To Pension Institutions

In China’s rapid economic development, people’s living standards are improving,when the pace of China’s aging society is quietly accelerating. More and more old peopleget in pension institutions, but many service pension institutions have not kept pace,raising the pension agency elderly collective level of service becomes integrated into thethoughts of many of the elderly. Meanwhile, due to the prevalence of domestic pensionagency staff service level is not high, not enough staff professional quality, service andcontents of a single agency staff shortage, etc., so the introduction of pensioninstitutions need professional social services, improve service standards of servicepersonnel, improve professionalism of staff, enrich the team of service personnel.Therefore, by studying the old collective casework intervention integration problem, notonly to provide some reference for the expansion of the pension agency services, but alsothe need for the introduction of professional social workers to provide proof, by studyingthis problem, the government could also see the actual role of social work. On the otherhand, in the case of the current degree of aging continued to increase, understandingmental activity and behavioral characteristics of the elderly related to sociological theory,psychology and social work theory makes sense.This paper is through casework, one of the three methods of social work to start,the application of this method to integrate the collective pension institutions for theelderly to go, understand the specific difficulties encountered this problem after elderlyhospitalized mainly face, followed by several interviews organize activities to help theelderly to explore resources to help elderly people to meet new friends, improverelations with the elderly roommate, regulating mood of the elderly, to help themintegrate into the collective. From a practical perspective, this paper caseworkintervention, not only to help the elderly successfully solved the difficult problem ofcollective integration, but also expand the existing nursing home services, in addition, theauthor’s success stories can also encounter similar social issues to provide some peerreference work.
