In Thailand, the backward level of education and educational performance for Chinese language which as a third foreign language for daily teaching is inconsistent with its rising importance position. So how to use the limited resources to enable students to fall in love with Chinese and willing to learn this language will become an extremely meaningful study.For this case, Chinese language teachers should pay highly attention on the instructional design which as the core problem. Teachers need to choose the appropriate teaching content and make reasonable arrangements for the teaching process based on students’characteristics. In this paper, according to the internship experience that the author has in Joseph upatham u-thong School, the author conducts a comprehensive investigation for their curriculum design of Chinese language, including the selection of teaching materials, the teaching aids and so on. As per these research, some existing problems have been emerged from the water.More-over, the author also summarizes some curriculum design cases for students of different ages from the actual teaching process, based on the textbook’Chinese’. This paper strives to provide some advisory opinions to the relevant practitioners.It is worth mentioning that the curriculum design in this paper is more significant for the Chinese language teachers who have rare knowledge on Thai language.The whole paper includes six parts, and contents of each part are as following:The instruction expounds the reasons for writing and the research significance of this paper, meanwhile, this part aslo presents the current relevant native and foreign researches briefly.The second part states the research for the practice situation of Chinese language classes in Joseph Thai School. This chapter mainly focuses on the intensive investigation and analysis for Chinese language classes in Joseph Thai School, then figure out the problems and make suggestions to solve them.The third part emphasizes the appliction and promotion of instructional design theories into the practical Chinese teaching.The forth part is the curriculum design based on the textbook "Chinese". According to the theoretical basis proposed in second part, this chapter redefines curriculum design by different grade, combining with the problems and suggested solutions which puts forward in the third part.The conclusion part is the several suggestions given to the primary and secondary school in Thailand for Chinese language teaching, based on the internship situation by author.The last part includes the reference, appendices and thanks.
