In order to realize the equality of education and solve such problems as rural teachers’ amount insufficient and structure unreasonable gradually, the central government began to implement "The Plan of the Special Setting Post for Teachers in the Rural Compulsory Education School", which openly recruit college graduates to rural compulsory education school in "two basics" counties in west regions. Although"the plan of special post" brings hope to the rural compulsory education, there are a lot of serious problems, special post teacher pre-job training is one of them. Pre-job training is related to whether teachers can realize the change of the role of students to teachers smoothly, which has a direct impact in teachers’ teaching competence. Although the ministry of education put forward clearly to do a good job in special post teacher pre-job training many times, there are no detailed rules and regulations so far. The local government is responsible for the concrete implementation. How to complete the special post pre-job training scientifically and effectively is a problem for the local government, which is the key point of this study.In this paper, the author generalizes the related research of rural primary and secondary school teachers’ orientation and the plan of special post, then it affirms the research value of special post teachers’ pre-job training. Based on the perspective of competency theory, this paper does a systemic study of special post teachers’ pre-job training in Guangxi. The article is divided into five parts:The introduction introduces the reason for selecting this topic, literature review and the research path and method of this paper.The second chapter introduces the theoretical basis of this research-competency theory and teachers’ competency model.The third chapter constructs the Guangxi special post teachers’ competency model, through the network questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation.The fourth chapter is the main part of this article. Firstly, the author analyses pre-job training needs through the special post teachers’competency questionnaire. Secondly, he participates in teachers’ pre-job training in two counties of Guangxi to know the implementation status of pre-job training. Thirdly, he finds problems in teachers’ pre-job training through comparing the demand and present situation. The last is a reason analysis.Chapter5is the strategy for Guangxi special post teachers’ pre-job training based on the competency perspective.This study has found that the competency model of special post teachers in Guangxi makes up of love students, communication skills, management of teaching process, teaching reflection, teamwork and others16competence characteristics. In addition to integrity, teaching reflection and respect for others, love students are in good condition, the remaining12should be strengthened. Because the related department does not set up right training concept and perfect training system, the current training course does not respond to the teachers’ actual needs. Special post teachers’ pre-job training based on the competency perspective designs and organizes training courses on the basis of poor12competency characteristics, which is a beneficial attempt to improve the scientific and effectiveness of teachers’ pre-job training.
