Over recent decades, the booming development of mountain outdoor sports in ourcountry, more and more cities are bound up in mountain outdoor competition’s held. Cities toheld mountain outdoor competition can promote the development of outdoor club and theindustry; it can improve the local popularity; and shaping the new image of the localmunicipal.At the all levels of leaders of the high attention and supporting, mountain outdoor sportsevents through the adjustment and innovation of the competition project, the improvementand optimization of the race route, competition bonus’s increase and disperse, thedevelopment and make use of the competition resources, the brand of the event’s planningand packaging in our country, many mountain outdoor sports evens has rapidly developed intothe best growth competence sports events in our country and even in international. Howeverdue to the factor of the event itself particularity and the organization committee managemountain outdoor sports event’s experience and the sport competition market policy in ourcountry and the sports even operating personnel and so on. It lead o the sustainabledevelopment of competition and the commercial operation is restricted. At the present stagethe main problems of the mountain outdoor sports event in our country are: It is lack of theadvanced international competition experience; The competition department communicationis not smooth; Lack of the human resources is restricted the competition development; It islack of the powerful build of the brand competition; Financing channel straitness is limit tothe event development.There are Chongqing Wulong international mountain outdoor open sports even and theWuhan national mountain outdoor sports challenge even. With the methods of literaturematerial, interview research method, survey researches and logic analysis that issystematically analyzed the competitions. As the organization structure of the competition、competition management、promotion of the competition、development of the market and theother side have reviewed and researched. It make a exploration of the mountain outdoorsports event’s commercialization operation of the role and significance, it will analyses thenecessity and the feasibility and the advantage of the mountain outdoor sports event commercialization operation, and it will find the existing main problem at the moment. In theend, build the commercialization operation sustainable development model and the project ofthe mountain outdoor sports event. These projects provide certain theory reference to ourmountain outdoor sports event development.
