Application Of Game Teaching Methods In Chinese Classes Of Thai Middle School

In recent years,it raises a upsurge of learning Chinese.As China moves towardsthe world,Chinese thereupon becomes an international language,more and morepeople join the team of learning Chinese.This can be seen by the number of Chinesevolunteer teachers dispatched by Hanban every year,since Hanban is going todispatch about5000Chinese volunteer teachers in the year of2014.Considering that Ihave taught Chinese in Thailand for one year,the main content of this paper will begame teaching method applied in the middle school of Thailand,The encourage of government,praise of royal family and support of the peoplemake the career of Chinese teaching in Thailand presents a benign trend.During theone year teaching in Thailand,it was found that game teaching is suitable for Thaistudents,on the one hand,it is not easy to master Chinese for students who study in anon-target language environment;on the other hand,it is appropriate for Thai studentsto learn with game method in consideration of their active and outgoing personality.Combining with the one-year teaching experience in Thailand,this paper analysethe cases of game teaching,with the addition of theory basis,implementprinciple,feasibility analysis,advantage and disadvantage analysis,thus evaluating theeffects of game teaching method.Based on the results of questionnaire,it concludesthat game teaching method gains a higher support among students and teachers,sinceit is beneficial to Chinese learning as well as to the relationship between students andteacher,the cultivation of learning methods and personality.According to theintroduction and analysis of game teaching method,I expect that it may provide a littleexperience and reference for the one who may use game teaching method.
