Care Ethics:a Solution The Theoretical Dilemma Of ECO-Feminism

Eco-feminism,as an ecological concept in1970s, combined of the ecologism and feminism,and thinked that kind of recognition of gender oppression ideology also recognized natural oppression,which have the social logic between gender oppression and natural oppression. So it can better understand and solve encironmental problem,if the ecological crisis and the women’liberation could be linked. Eco-feminism attempts through criticism of the modern western philosophy, Committed to a world of diversity, integrity and relevance, in order to realize the new relationship of symbiotic sharing between human and nature, man and man, man and society. From the point of the target of criticism, both patriarchy and thinking mode of dualism, lead to mechanical view of nature of rationalism and science is the highest, or male centralism and natural instrumentalism, and various by rejection caused by the differences in the oppression of marginalized groups, but is all sorts of development form of dualism,so the dilemma of eco-feminism is dualism. Therefore, to get rid of the theory of dualism, eco-feminism needs a value system which is required to deconstruct the dualism of extreme separation and dominated the relationship, to reconstruct a difference of the hierarchical concepts to the dualism of ethical relationship. The ethical relationship than mainstream environmental ethics advocated more complete and deep ecology, it is to admit that continuity, and not ignore differences, at the same time can make keep good tension between the two. Care ethics can be the term.As a different voice, firstly,the care ethics set self be constructed on the theoretical basis of the relationship, put the relationship between the self mode instead of on the premise of separation and rejection of exclusive oneself, to break the antagonistic relations between the self and the others, fully recognized continuity and the relationship between the basic position in ethical behavior. Secondly,it stesses the repositioning of affective factors, think these more specific and delicate emotional concept can take more care of the individual, not forced assimilation.Thirdly,it strengthens care behaviour in context, agree moral choice and judgment must be made with attention to the specific situation of concreteness, diversity, refuse to indifference of universal moral principles and the value of the hierarchical order. In addition, eco-feminism also attempts to resolve the moral disagreement by dialogue or negotiation and satisfying the mental demand of the moral disagreements, through the exchange and communication to achieve a "both... and..." which think to accommodate various interests and differences and abandon the arbitrary of’not... is...".Obviously, these claims of caring ethics can overcome its theoretical difficulties for ecological feminism-dualism problem, provide strong theoretical support and argumentation,for people to search instead of instrumentalism,solve ecological feminism criticism by logic,based on the dualism of other rule to achieve its advocated by the new harmonious relationship has the extremely significant significance,can yet be regarded as a possible path to ecological feminism theory.
