The relationship between teachers and students is always an important issue of the education theory. It plays a essential role in teaching and influence the as the core element. As the time passes and the education progresses itself, the contactive manner between teachers and students has changed and cause some problems. Educational researchers and teachers in schools make the new curriculum, teaching skills and the management system the emphases of the innovation, but in fact, there is no factor surpassing the relationship between teachers and students in the psychological maturity and personality development. The theory of caring provide a new field of vision of research on the relationship between teachers and students and help the writer root out the diseases of the relationship. Care is the bond between the teachers and the students, and it is also the transitional trend of the relationship. As an intersubjective practice area full of dynamic, changeable and uncertain interaction, the relationship between teachers and students should be re-recognized and identified with more specific values. The nature of the relationship is the educational relationship. It determines that only by the relationship between teachers and students returning to education communication itself can be shown the charm and effectiveness of education. The intrinsic motivation of the relationship between teachers and students is teachers' caring to students. The intercourse by teaching and accepting knowledge and technology can not achieve much in real terms. In the educational relationship, care should be regarded as the Aim of the education with the main objective to maintain and enhance the caring contacts between themselves, not just the means of education. Teachers should be the guardian of the positive value. The value of the ultimate concern is the care of human nature and of the present life care is the care of people living in the world. The foundation of dialogue and you-and-me relationship between teachers and students is the process of sharing the responsibility and experience for caring. Putting into operation, both teachers and students should be related to holding some principles and models in the interaction. In particular, teachers bear much duty on making students learn to care. Only by this, the successful transformation of the relationship between teachers and students is possible.This essay mainly elaborates in three parts.The preface introduces the process of selection, study value, study facts of relationship between teachers and students.The first chapter makes the problems about the relationship between teachers and students clear. Although they are trivial, they can be highly connected. Gazing at the problems can seek the setting, inner reason and the future of it. The discussion is the base for the caring theory.The second chapter comprehends the relationship between teachers and students in the view of caring theory. The analysis on the essense of the relationship and the caring theory displays the availability of caring theory.The third chapter illustrates the caring in macroscopic view and microscopic view combined with the traditional caring in old china. The chapter also shows the models and the principles in practice of the relationship transition.
