The core of the new history curriculum reform is to let the students through the study of history canfirmly grasp the historical discipline knowledge, form the ability of acquiring history knowledge andanalysis, the ability to solve the problem of history, more important is to cultivate the students’ humanisticspirit and innovative spirit, shaping up a sound personality. In history teaching, historical teaching is theemphasis of teaching, also is the core content, through the study of historical figures, can make thetraditional virtues of high school students continue to human, form the correct moral values, has to adapt tothe social demand of citizen consciousness and the humanities. Historical teaching, therefore, more andmore get the attention of the teachers and students, the right to distinguish different historical figures andtheir activities, both accord with the requirement of the new curriculum reform, also accord with the ageand psychological characteristics of students. Historical teaching research, to improve high school studentsinterest in learning history, enrich their knowledge of history has great significance, but also can enhancethe students’ patriotic feeling, make them set up correct outlook on life and values, to a certain extent, canimprove the high school students personality, promote the healthy development of their personality.Historical figures colorful, this is a part of the history teaching can attract students most. At present,however, involves the historical figures of history teaching course or curriculum design, tend to downplaycharacters, to highlight the historical events. When a lot of teaching materials on introduction of thehistorical figures also simply introduced, which can cause pale of historical teaching, make the vibranthistory dull, students read the boring, thereby seriously weaken the educational function of history course.As a result, the teaching of teachers to a large collection of data, scientific design of teaching, makestudents close to the historical figures, feel the historical figure personality, in his historical monument, tothe realization of the aim of history education.Guided by the new curriculum concept, this paper fully drawing on and assimilating the academiaabout high school history teaching research results, combined with my internship practice andquestionnaire, through revealing the current high school history teaching present situation and problems ofcharacters, from the teachers’ teaching idea, the disadvantages of exam-oriented education, the negative effect on the students and some videos of historical characters in the curriculum teaching material of therelated data from several aspects such as to find out the specific reason, and to improve the classroomteaching and textbook writing puts forward some feasibility Suggestions, summed up the high schoolhistorical teaching more rich, meticulous teaching countermeasure, to promote the continuous developmentof high school history teaching.
