Character teaching is an important content of high school history teaching. Middle school history teaching regards cultivating the students’ moral quality and personality quality as the core spirit. Historical figures teaching are important ways for moral education and personality education. The current researches on the teaching of historical figures and historical evaluation research have certain achievements, but they are inadequate. They are short of focusing on basic situation of senior high school history teaching and students’ learning situation from the practical level. In addition, the lack of "negative historical figures" will bring a series of problems to historical teaching. Through reading the current research of a large number of literatures, the author found that there are almost no "opposite historical figure" teaching research. The author thinks that it can puts forward feasible advice for the improvement of teaching activities from the aspects. It can help better guide the student to master the preliminary evaluation strategy of historical figures and carry out the character teaching educating function.This paper is divided into three parts:the first part is the introduction.in this paper, it discusses the historical characters and character evaluation of the relevant research results on the basis of the definition of "person of the opposite historical teaching. Then analyzes the importance of negative historical figure in history teaching:the benefit for the improvement of the new curriculum standard, the benefit for the cultivation of the students’ ability, the benefit for the cultivation of students’ thinking quality. The second part analyzes the problems existing in the senior high school history teaching and the reasons. First discuss the problems of the revision of historical figures in 2003 high school history curriculum standard. And then talk about the problems existing in the senior high school history teaching and personage evaluation problems in high school because of the lack of "negative historical figures" and the error evaluation. The author believes that the main problems of the currant historical figures teaching are:project of history curriculum and textbook writing bring to the confused of historical figures teaching, historical evaluation error and the problems of historical figures teaching in Chinese and foreign historical commentary, which is the high school history course four. The third part puts forward to the measures of lack of "opposite historical figure" problems in history teaching in high school. In the part appropriately supplement mainly "opposite historical figure" teaching content focus on the responsible people for the World War II. Teachers should guide students to master the preliminary evaluation of historical figures during the "opposite historical figure" teaching. Finally the paper puts forward several proposals for the teaching of historical figures, hoping to be used for reference in history teaching. This study has important theoretical and practical significance for the achievement of "opposite historical figure" teaching tasks in high school and the achievement of the teaching goal.
