Our country is an agricultural country, the rural population accounts for over80%of the population, improve the quality of the whole people, basic education inrural areas should be placed in an important position of young people.With thedeepening of China’s reform and opening up,Party and state pay more attention onagriculture, rural areas and farmers (three problems about countryside,agriculture andfarmers) policy more attention, especially more emphasis on basic education in ruralareas.Physical education in rural schools, especially in the development of schoolphysical education in poor rural areas is directly related to the improvement ofnational quality.Therefore emphasis of physical education in rural schools in poorareas is imperative, is duty-bound to put the school physical education in poor areason the agenda.Shangrao located in the northeast of jiangxi province, is a state-level counties,the population of Shangrao is790000, the rural population is around700000. theeconomic of Shangrao is development relatively slow, rural junior middle schooldistribution more fragmented.Paper selected national poverty counties (19rural juniorhigh school of Shangrao) as the case,through study in-depth understanding,comparison and analysis of the case,summarizes the common problems thatrestriction the development of the poor areas school in our country.By presenting thetimely and reality views in order to provide a reference point to policy makers, schoolmanagement and educators,thus contribute a little effort to promote physicaleducation schools in poor areas of China’s development and progress.In this paper, the state-level counties areas of central China Shangrao of jiangxiprovince which19rural junior high school physical education present situation as theresearch object.This paper use19rural junior high schools physical education presentsituation of Shangrao which is a State-level poverty-stricken counties in jiangxi Province in central China as the research object,using literature data,questionnaire, field interviews, statistics and other research methods,research andanalysis the19rural junior middle schools of Shangrao including Sports teachers(including PE teachers overall number, gender, age and teaching age structure,education, job title and professional structure, treatment, research and re-education),physical education, curriculum implementation, preparation and implementation,teachers’ workload, physical education, squeezes, the evaluation of physical educationlearning situation), extracurricular sports activities (morning exercises, the lesson holddevelopment condition, the number of extracurricular sports activities, time, condition,after-school sports training team, at the situation of sports competition), the conditionof sports playgrounds, equipment and funds, etc.Conclusions:1、The rural junior high school physical education teachers in the poor countieswith a shortage especially urgent need to increase the number of female gymteacher;Job title, salary structure of teachers is not reasonable enough, researchcapacit of the teachers is generally low, less chances of re-education are received.2、the poor county in rural junior high school sports curriculum implementation is notoptimistic, the majority is not running in place; physical phenomena often occuroccupied, the teacher of physical education workload calculation is not reasonable,sports scores of teachers to students is not enough scientific evaluation methods.3、thepoverty-stricken county in rural junior high school extracurricular sports activitiesoverall unsatisfactory, fewer schools put the "sunshine sports exercise one hour everyday," in place.4、the poverty-stricken county in rural poor material conditions and lackof sports areas, sports equipment, funds,sources of funding is narrow.Suggestions:1,the government at all levels should attach importance to poor rural areas juniorhigh school physical education,put the school sports work effectively into the schooleducation,Construction supervision mechanism of the school physicaleducation,making the formation of school sports law, violators are prosecutedlong-term mechanism.2,Enhance the physical team teachers building,Improve teachers’ comprehensive level,efforts to make rural junior high school physicaleducation teachers Shangrao education, job title, income, level of scientific research,continuing education and other development towards a reasonable track.3, Strengtheninspection and supervision of Physical Education and competitions, to prevent the"School Physical Education Teaching" become a mere formality.4, Focusing onextracurricular sports activities, making occasional random sampling tests andinspections to the poor areas of rural junior high school extracurricular sportsactivities.5, Increasing capital investment, expanding financing channels, governmentshould funding on time and the same time encourage the community caring concernto rural school sports in the past and to establish earmarking system.6, diggingsuperior resources of mountain,explore the characteristics of the school sports tocover the lack of sports venues and equipments of the poor areas.
