College students are successors and new recruits of China’s modernization drive, thus, paying muchattention to cultivation of their overall qualities makes basis for creating a reserve force with highlyeducated, high-level talent, according with the needs of modernization drive, which is a quite urgent eventand relies on combining all kinds of forces to contribute to improving the education of contemporarycolleges and universities, developing the overall qualities of college students, strengthening their minds andcharacters and cultivating full-scale reserved talents.The purpose of this paper is to get understanding of physical activity condition of non-PE majors inHenan University of Science and Technology, to ameliorate its deficiency and to give some suggestionsabout the sexual difference in physical activity. In addition, it provides theory for physical exercises andmakes basis for the development, reform and innovation of sports and improving the education of sport.Besides, it also offers the countermeasure to the difference of values to physical education, interests, formsof exercise, acts of exercising and motivations of exercising between boy students and girl students.This paper researches and investigates the physical activity condition of non-PE majored students inHenan University of Science and Technology through literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics andlogic analysis, taking the knowledge of sports science and sports psychology as the theory. Use stratifiedcluster random sampling to select325students to fill in the questionnaires, then draw the conclusionthrough the statistical software after retrieving the questionnaires.
