Currently, there are more and more researches and public opinions refer to the problem behaviors of students in vocational school, which leads to their social images getting worse. So we should pay more attentions to the "positive energy"——ideal students in vocational school. This thesis focuses on the characteristics and influencing factors of ideal students in teachers’view. Ideal students in teachers’view are those who up to or near the evaluation criteria which their teachers accepted and internalized. Ideal students in teachers’view can reflect expectations of our country, schools, and society for talents to some extent. Researching on characteristics and influencing factors of those ideal students will help us understand their specific performance in studying, moral characters and other aspects, know the factors, which can promote the development of students in vocational school, enhance teacher’s teaching happiness.This study combines quantitative and qualitative research methods. We obtain large amounts of data through questionnaires, and first-hand information with interviews. In addition, the study also uses collect method, collating and analyzing the domestic and foreign research on ideal students.The study consists of five chapters. The first chapter introduces the reason and meaning of the study, reviews the literature, and defines the concepts and so on. The second chapter investigates the implementation of the study. It explains the research objects, preparation of research tools, collection and processing of data, as well as the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of the ideal student in teachers’view. The fourth chapter studies the relevant factors in the formation and development of the ideal students. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and outlook part, which summarizes the specific characteristics and influencing factors of ideal student in teachers’view, then propose future research directions.Conclusions of this study:(1)Ideal students in teachers’view have a round development in their moral, psychological, physical, ability and learning;(2)Teachers in vocational school pay more attention to students’moral and mental performance; Teachers in vocational school pay little attention to student learning performance;(3)Teachers in vocational school think that the important qualities of ideal students are respecting teachers, having healthy attitudes, respecting students, and observing disciplines;(4)There are differences about the characteristics of ideal students in vocational school among teachers;(5) Schools, families and societies have impacts on the development of the ideal students. The more important factors of school influence are teachers’affirmation, incentives from class atmosphere and changes of the appraised standards; of families including the positive impact of the father’s education; pressure on family economic conditions; of societies including training schools and trainee.
