| With the development and application of digital multimedia,the reading technology becomes increasingly important.Point reading pen is a combination of paper and electronic media. This reading assistant provides a new way for children to choose. After the survey’5-6years old children’s use of reading pen’, we found that reading pen is popular among the5-6-year-old children. The initial age of using the pen is mostly before4years old. But the frequency of using is very low.405-6year-old children who don’t have experience of point reading were randomly selected as two parallel classes in a kindergarten in Tianjin. They performed in two stages by using different ways of reading two books to read, and reading behavior was observed and tested and evaluation of reading comprehension, and reading stories about the form of preferences,which compares two different ways of reading the effect of reading.The result shows that,Children of5-6-year-old have a great difference in the reading behavior in two different way of reading, particularly in the reading time and facial expressions. It has no significant difference in the visual action. During the reading, children click more on the district of writings and roles,and they will click more than once.5-6years old children understand the story.The story structure at the point of reading comprehension reading is better. There wras no gender difference for tradition reading and the point reading.In the reading with reading pen, the stories that5-6children told contain more word. At the same time, children in reading with pen tell story in a higher level.After making two different forms of reading,5-6year-old children prefer the point reading way.Based on the findings of this study,we propose some recommendations to parents of young children, kindergarten teachers and early childhood reading pen manufacturer recommendations. |
