Under the background of new curriculum reform, the original historyteaching mode and method face great challenge. According to the actual situation of ourschool and the research of teaching problems about history self-learning, we try tochange the teaching method of history teachers and promote students’ self-constructionof knowledge, self-cultivation of ability and self-generation of thinking.We combine the requirements of curriculum reform and the need of reality, make adeep study of self-learning theory, sort and analyze concept, goal, method ofself-learning in Junior middle school history class, optimize research strategies, and dosome research about questionnaire survey,case study, and evaluation mechanism stepby step.We try to talk about the factors that affect students’ self-learning, then find thebasic factors, operation mode, classroom management strategies,and the teaching&learning methods. We also try to make sure the teaching aims and learning aims,updateeducation teaching idea, optimize the teaching procedures, improve the teaching leveland scientific research ability of teachers’ who join the research, and change students’learning state.The article is based on students’ situation and think about their future. I hope tolay a good foundation for students’ life-long learning,and at last make students’ self-learning, self-development and self-management come true.
